How do I archive a policy?
Archive Policy is available from the ⋯ menu on a published policy's header (not on Drafts). It:
- Immediately hides the policy from employees' My Policies list.
- Removes it from AI assistant coverage.
- Retains everything else — every version, every acknowledgment, every audience snapshot stays in the database forever as evidence. Nothing about the history is deleted.
You'll be asked to confirm: "Archive this policy? It will be hidden from employees; history is retained." There is currently no "unarchive" action. A policy that's still in Draft (never published) can instead simply be deleted — published policies cannot be deleted, only archived, because they carry acknowledgment evidence.
