Troubleshooting

Issue Solution
Loan Type dropdown is empty No loan types have been configured. An administrator must add them under Settings > Loan Type.
Amount exceeds maximum The principal amount exceeds the maximum allowed for the selected loan type. Check the Loan Type settings for limits.
Installments exceed maximum The number of installments exceeds the maximum allowed. Check the loan type's Maximum Installments setting.
"Submit to Workflow" button not visible Ensure workflow is enabled for Loan Requests under Settings > Workflow Approvals.
Payment schedule shows 0 interest The loan type's interest rate is set to 0 (interest-free). This is correct for salary advances.
Loan not being deducted from salary Verify the loan type has a Deduction Component configured and the loan is marked as Disbursed.
Request stuck at a level The approver at that level has not yet taken action. Contact them directly or ask an administrator to check.
Not receiving notifications Check My Preferences > Workflow Notifications. See the Workflow Approval System Guide.
Cannot edit a submitted request Submitted requests are read-only. Cancel the current request and create a new one with updated details.
